The most annoying thing about induction cooktops is the fact that they work with vessels that are made from magnetic materials. This means you’ll most likely have to use stainless steel and cast iron vessels and cookware. So if you’ve already spend a lot of money buying things that are no longer useful you’ll most likely have to do it all over again.
Of course, we can’t forget about safety. A very important feature that defines induction cooktops is the fact that the stovetop stays cool. You will no longer accidentally burn your hands unless, of course, you touch the induction unit on purpose. You can safely place your grocery list or recipe book on the stovetop near the pot without having to worry about anything.
Get inspiration from some of the busiest restaurant kitchens, which use industrial wall hardware and racks for utensil storage. Some ideas for storing utensils and tools on the wall: Hang racks for utensils. A simple bar with some hooks can hold tools with a loop or hole in them. There are baskets that can be hung on the rack to hold smaller items. Paint and hang a pegboard, and use it to hang your tools. Keep the items organized by color or use. Use wall magnets to store knives and spice jars.
