Ventilation A far cry from the clunky hoods of years gone by, kitchen ventilation is changing, giving homeowners ore and more options. Depending on the size of your kitchen and specifics of your cooktop, there are many different options.
Since induction cooktops are a relatively new creation, lots of people seem to be concerned about all sorts of things. For example, there’s the issue related to power. Induction cooktops are much more powerful than gas stoves so there’s really nothing to worry about it in this sector. Also, there’s the problem of radiations. However, there are no radiation-associated hazards that come with using an induction cooktop so this is just another myth.
Still, these stoves are slower to cook food when turned down so it will take longer for you to cook something on an electric stove than on a gas one. Add to that the increased cost of electricity and the bills get bigger and bigger.
