In contemporary kitchens, sleek islands, that morph into dining tables, have become a staple. But what about good ol’ cabinets? Well, many a manufacturer try to reinvent the classic furniture element, and the results are, at times, simply stunning.
Dining peninsulas can be cool and practical as well. With these you really don’t have to buy a dining table, although you might need to splurge on a ceiling pendant still. Dining areas like that look more casual, but it doesn’t mean they can’t be stylish and elegant.
Wooden floors soften up the all-white interior and cold metallic kitchen with untreated natural color and texture. Modernist furnishings complete the living area, rendering the place pleasantly nostalgic.
