The most annoying thing about induction cooktops is the fact that they work with vessels that are made from magnetic materials. This means you’ll most likely have to use stainless steel and cast iron vessels and cookware. So if you’ve already spend a lot of money buying things that are no longer useful you’ll most likely have to do it all over again.
More standard style kitchen hoods also have innovations, such as the LED lighted model on the right. It provides the power to handle the gas stove model underneath and still has a modern look. The LED light comes in different colors that can be sustained or alternating, depending on personal preference.
Another great advantage that comes with using an induction cooktop is that there is no wasted heat. The energy is supplied to the cooking vessel by the magnetic fields and this way it all gets transferred to the vessel without anything getting lost during the process. With traditional stoves, the kitchen becomes a sauna when you’re cooking something because lots of the heat gets lost instead of being used properly.
