But marble countertops with a glossy finish etch easily when exposed to acidic materials, and if you are not careful, the whole thing can turn into a big mess within just a few months. Honed marble on the other hand is already etched and hence far safer, but the downside is that it stains easily!

These extend across the entire main room, opening it up to the city views much like it is done in the New York lofts. The white walls, columns, and staircase, however, give it a classic Scandinavian look. There aren’t many decorations or design elements, so the frosty minimal atmosphere very much translates into the Nordic aesthetic.
