Design May 01, 2017. The way you decorate and organize an L-shaped kitchen doesn’t actually give much room for creativity but, nevertheless, there are plenty of options and ways in which you can make your kitchen feel original and beautiful. We’ve selected 20 examples to illustrate that.
Cabinets & Storages April 29, 2017. Subtle Pastels Pastel-colored kitchens are trending as a way to create a pop of color and interest without making a room’s aesthetic too heavy or dark. Especially popular pastel choices include pale shades of blue and green.
Design May 01, 2017. L-shaped kitchens are very common. They are practical because they offer an internal structure that offers a décor that’s perfect for cooking but also for everything else. Whether they are a separate room or they are part of an open floor plan, L-shaped kitchens feature plenty of counter space which can be a crucial detail and that can make the difference between a practical kitchen and one that lacks something important. They also have the shape necessary for also including a kitchen island.

Knotted oak cabinets are coupled with eco-cement surfaces to paint a truly exceptional picture. Each knotted oak kitchen is specially treated with vegetable oils and waxes, and you can choose between either an unfinished look or polished lacquered surfaces. The eco-cement obviously brings a certain industrial vibe to this lovely kitchen.
Cabinets & Storages May 01, 2017. There are a number of ways to approach white countertops. White marble is warm, classic and its natural veiny appearance adds texture. It is more expensive than other options as well as higher maintenance. You’ll need to wipe up spills right away, avoid putting hot pans or abrasive items on the surface and seal it on a regular basis. White granite is lower maintenance than marble (seal it once a year and wipe up spills ASAP) but also offers a classic look.

It works best with a natural light source, because the colors themselves lean toward the darker end of the spectrum. This updated kitchen is from the slightly post-mid-century modern era (70s), but it couldn’t be more relevant to today’s popular aesthetic.
Kitchen Backsplash April 29, 2017. Ever considered simply painting your backsplash without actually using anything else? You can pretty much create any pattern and design you want. In this case, a herringbone pattern was chosen. To make something similar, you need a lot of tape. Decide on a size for your painted tiles. Then make tiny pencil marks on the wall to know where the grout lines should go. After that, make the horizontal lines and start taping and painting. It’s tricky and you need lots of spare time for a project like this but it’s also really original.
